Conextile operates a B2B marketplace for the used-textile industry. Because using the Platform requires a business user account, we process some personal data belonging to the individuals who act on behalf of Member companies (owners, employees, and contacts). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have. It applies to Members, prospective Members going through registration, and visitors who submit a report through our Complaints form.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or other special-category data through the Platform.
Public company profile. Once your registration is verified and your membership payment is confirmed, a basic profile for your company — company name, business type, country/city, your company description, and any logo or photos you've uploaded — becomes publicly visible on the Platform's own website (for example at a page like conextile.com/company/your-company-name), and may appear in search engine results such as Google. This is separate from, and more limited than, the full company directory available to logged-in Members: your business email, phone number, website, street address, registration/VAT numbers, and direct messaging are never made public and remain visible only to other verified Members after they register. If you'd prefer your public profile not be shown, contact us using the details in Section 10.
We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data with third-party service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, hosting or email-delivery providers), strictly to the extent needed to operate the Platform. Where we engage such a provider, we require it to enter into a data processing agreement and to only process data on our documented instructions.
At present the Platform does not integrate a payment gateway or a named third-party cloud storage provider for company data beyond standard website hosting and email delivery; if that changes, this policy will be updated to name the provider(s) concerned and confirm a data processing agreement is in place.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Conextile, our Members, or others.
We prefer to store and process personal data within the European Union or European Economic Area. Where a service provider is located outside the EU/EEA, we will only use that provider where an appropriate safeguard is in place (such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses).
We keep account and company data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with accounting, tax, and legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Complaint and notice records are retained as needed to satisfy our reporting obligations under the Digital Services Act. The automatic traffic log described in Section 3 (page visited, IP address, country, device, referrer, timestamp) is kept for a maximum of 90 days and then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, subject to the retention we are legally required to observe (see Section 7).

The Platform uses essential cookies required for you to log in and use the dashboard securely (for example, session and authentication cookies). These do not require consent under applicable law and cannot be declined while remaining logged in.
We also use Google Analytics to understand where and when the site is visited (for example, visitor country, device type, and which pages are viewed). This is not loaded automatically: the first time you visit, a banner asks for your consent, and Google Analytics is only activated if you click "Accept." If you click "Decline" (or take no action), no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your cookies for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit. We do not use advertising cookies.
Separately, we keep our own first-party traffic log (see Section 3) for every visit, whether or not you accept the Google Analytics banner — this does not use a cookie or any identifier stored in your browser, and no data leaves our own server.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, please contact us first via our Complaints form so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
